Autism SA has been providing specialist support services to the South Australian community for over 45 years. Located in Netley, the organisation employs approximately 120 staff and provides diagnosis, early intervention, support and educational programs for Autism Spectrum disorders.

Relying for a time on a single staff member for technology support, Autism SA encountered the challenges inherent with having only a single resource having to meet growing organisational demands. The organisation required a more comprehensive level of support and subsequently went to market for outsourced IT services.


Autism SA awarded a 90 day outsourced arrangement to Subnet to provide prompt access to a broad range of technical resources and services, as well as receive regular strategic advice on on-going technology investment.

After an initial review of the network, systems and applications, and subsequent remediation, Subnet took over providing proactive management and support of the whole technology environment via a comprehensive outsourced service agreement.


By providing both helpdesk and on-site support, along with consultative, strategic technology investment advice, Autism SA has been able to shift their focus to their charitable and philanthropic endeavours in the community, in turn channelling their energies towards the people who need it the most.

Autism SA’s experience with Subnet’s local, friendly professional services team has seen the original contract extended several times over the course of the last 3 years. Subnet has also enjoyed the opportunities over that time to partner with Autism SA to better help the organisation through fund-raising efforts and community support.
